On Thursday, Saturday and Monday, we went to the gym, which was very small and cold. But it was great and we played Zombieball, Brennball and dodgeball (they are funny ball games in which many people can take part). Mrs Grindberg and Mr Tenter came along. We had a lot of sick friends, but when we went to the gym, they came with us and sometimes they played, too. Not in the gym, but in two other rooms there were three table tennis tables. One was in a very warm room and two were in a very cold room. We played table tennis a lot, and it was fun.

When we were skiing, we had to use a lift. There were three types of lifts: anchor lifts, plate lifts and chair lifts. Two lifts took us to the highest points of ”Grafenmatt“. And one lift (the chair lift) took us to “Zeiger“. The lift ways were very slippery, and so the person who used the lift had to watch out. And when we used the lift for the first time it was very hard and sometimes somebody fell out of the lift. On the first day only those kids who were very good used the lift. But in the end we all could use it. Every lift-action costs points. The anchor lift costs 6 points, the plate lift 3 points and the chair lift 7 points, and for these points we needed cards. On the last ski day (Monday) the good kids, who went skiing with Mrs Grindberg, ate chips at the “Emmendinger Huette“. But it was very expensive there. We all had fun and wonderful days at the Feldberg and the sport lessons were a lot of fun.
